Dust spreading analysis and optimum wind breaker selection
In this simulation, coal mining site was simulated using openFOAM, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) method to study the effect of wind speed and direction to the velocity distribution near the coal surface in order to find high wind speed area. This is important for near-beach facilities to investigate wether or not the fine coal dust blown off. In the same simulation, we can find the best wind barrier selection and design based on the existing building layout.
