In this semiconductor era, maintaining electronic parts with proper heat exchanger system is very crucial to ensure the performance of the whole system or even make sure the part doesn’t failure. This is quite challenging due to the fact that our electronic devices are getting smaller and more compact. With Finite Element Analysis (FEA) we can optimise the layout and material selection, or even more, witch Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation, we can design the flow, wether it is from fluid tubes, fan, or natural convection.
How we solved it
In this study, we use openFoam CFD to evaluate the flow and convection, and use codeAster FEA to optimise the conduction.
